Which words are in the academic collocations list?

Chapter 3

In addition to the academic words and phrases provided in Chapter 1 and 2 of this short course, students may also find the Academic Collocations List (ACL) helpful in their studies. Developed by Kirsten Ackermann and Yu-Hua Chen using the Pearson International Corpus of Academic English (https://pearsonpte.com/organizations/researchers/academic-collocation-list/), this list contains 2,469 of the most frequent academic collocations. While many of the words on this list are also contained in the Academic Word List (AWL), the ACL helpfully provides these words in their most frequent combinations (collocations).
